The night side of the Earth.
The countries you have visited are the ones with the lights on.
For iPhone, on iOS 17 or later, and Android phones, on Android 10 or later.
The idea
It is a globe of the night side of the Earth. Mark a country and it lights up in your colour. Leave the phone alone and the globe turns by itself. When you want to show someone, the app makes a video on your phone: the globe flies from country to country, each one lighting up, and ends on your whole lit-up world.
It keeps track of where you have been and where you want to go, and that is all it does.
What it does
-
Globe
The real Earth from its night side, with every country and territory on it. Zoom in far enough to pick out small islands. In ambient mode it turns by itself when you leave it alone.
-
Mark
Visited or Want to go. Tap a country, long-press it to mark it visited, or search a list of every country and territory, with flags. Add a year and a note.
-
Count
Out of the 193 member states of the United Nations, with territories shown beside the number. With your percent of the world, continents, land-area share and years.
-
Share
A video tour rendered on your phone: MP4, 9:16 or 1:1, up to 90 seconds, no watermark. Or a still card, in three sizes.
-
Keep
Export your countries as a JSON file you own and import it on another phone. Automatic snapshots are there to restore if you make a mistake.
Nothing leaves your phone unless you send it.
- No account.
- No ads and no analytics.
- No network permission at all. It works offline, always.
- Your countries are stored on your phone, and in your phone's own backup if you use one.
- The video, the still card and the export go only where you send them.
